Agriculture's continued economic viability is important beyond its identified dollar contribution to a community's economy. The establishment of an average output per farm/ranch metric for agriculture operation allows for monitoring of this industry.
General Observations:
The average crop/livestock revenue has declined in eight counties since the baseline was established. The largest declines occured in Garfield, Grand and Gunnison Counties.
Routt County Observations:
Routt County continues to retain its ranking of first and has seen a modest rate of growth of 3%.
