What makes a county the place that is through an ecological eye a high quality place to live?
As population growth and availability, use and consumption of our energy impacts our global environment, the Index attempts to answer this question. After reviewing and researching a number of livability factors encompassing environmental, land use and energy consumption impacts, the Index focuses on six categories along with their index weightings. As bio-diversity information becomes available, it will be added and tracked in the Index.
