The number of youth who are brought to the attention of the authorities is a reflection of how a community deals with adolescents who have challenges.  Measuring and tracking this number allows for comparisons to other similar communities and for assistance with identifying the need for social services.
General Observations:
Seven of the 10 counties have seen improvements in their rates of Juvenile Deliquency
Since the baseline period established for this indicator in 2006/07 Gunnison County has seen the most decrease and Eagle County the greatest increase.
Routt County Observations:
Routt County ranks 5th and has seen a decrease of 15% since the the baseline was established.
