How many county residents can afford adequate health care?
On a national basis the uninsured population is clearly an issue that continues to be at the forefront, and as such, some measurement of a county's uninsured is an important aspect of assessing access to health care.
General Observations:
Seven of the 10 counties saw the population of uninsured increase. Five of the ten counties have seen the uninsured population increase by 5% or greater since baseline data was established.
Routt County Observations:
Routt County continues to rank as the county with the lowest percentage of the population uninsured.
The largest rate of increase since the baseline period has taken place in Routt County.
