Civic Voter Contributions
RCLI=1.0

How involved are we in our political process?
The involvement of people supporting a political party or interest is estimated by measuring the number of contributions made to political campaigns. A higher percentage of citizens contributing to campaigns reflects a greater degree of political involvement.
Due to different data gathering methods used from 2007 to 2008, we cannot make accurate year-to-year comparisons. Going forward, however, we expect this data to be gathered in a consistent manner. As a result this Index will use the information that was presented in last year’s index.
