General Observations

• Pitkin County is the least affordable with the median housing cost at 10.9 times the median income.

• Grand County was the only county where housing became less affordable between 2005 and 2007.

• Gunnison and LaPlata counties have improved the fastest on this measure of affordability.

Routt County Observations:

•Routt County ranks fifth again this year and is the fourth fastest in improvement.
